“Phong came out quickly to troubleshoot a failing outlet. It wasn't easy to figure out, but he found the mysterious hidden box in the attic where the wires were loose. The attic was very small and hard to access. I then asked him to add 2 dedicated 20 amp outlets with separate breakers to the kitchen. He surveyed the site and came up a solution that didn't require breaking drywall or drilling through studs. Most importantly, Phong was easy to talk to. He doesn't frown when I asked him questions. He worked with my idea to come up with the solution that worked for me. He also taught me some very important things about my electrical panel and pointed out some wrong breakers that were installed incorrectly. Overall, highly recommended.”

“Our EV charging installation exceeded ALL expectations. From the initial inquiry to completion, the customer service was outstanding, providing clear communication and addressing all questions. We were concerned about hiring a non-certified, not licensed electrician, random handy person which-- nothing wrong with that but something as important as an EV charging installation at home should require a professional expert.

After extensive research and looking up the legitimacy of this business, Underrated Electric is the real deal: insured, bonded, certified, and licensed. We were hesitant at first because they seem like a newer company in the ocean of electricians but every decision for this transaction was well worth it and we couldn't be more satisfied going with them. I spoke to Phong several times--asking questions about the process, their qualifications for EV installations, etc. and I will say that he was very open and patient the entire time.

They did such great work that the first time around, I called them again to install a charging port for an EV.

I absolutely love that the technician was prompt (arrived a bit early) and WORE SHOE COVERS before entering our home-- I appreciated that so much. And without fail has always cleaned up the workspace when they were done. Vaccum, wipe down, etc...all of it.

Looking for an electrician is pretty easy, you book on the best deal but it's difficult to trust the work that they do which is why I went with reccomendation from a family member and I feel confident that I'm sticking to this group because they are professional and trust the work they do.
